There is an eerie silence deafening the city right now. The silence is only disturbed by the sounds of sirens from the emergency services every now and then. Sometimes, the wailing screeching sounds won’t stop for a good fifteen minutes, and then it goes dead, again. 

The pregnant pause in between is thick and heavy. Culminating the mood of the city it enveloped. The sky is scattered with polluted air and the Sun shines the bright scary intense crimson. As if bringing foreboding of intense change. 

The energy stays and all we have to do for now is wait. This will lift, we are okay, things will be back to normal soon enough. But for now, we shall stay silence. Stay in faith. Our words only can be used for good and nothing more. Silence. I
